The U.S. has designated the Lebanese Muslim Brotherhood (LMB) and Others as Foreign Terrorist Organizations

The U.S. has designated the Lebanese Muslim Brotherhood (LMB) as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) and SDGT, along with its leader Muhammad Fawzi Taqqosh. The Egyptian and Jordanian Muslim Brotherhoods were also designated as SDGTs for supporting Hamas. These groups and related offshoots, including Hamas, PIJ, EIJ, IG, HASM, and Liwa al-Thawra, have conducted attacks against Israel and Egypt. U.S. persons are prohibited from doing business with them, and their U.S.-based assets are blocked.
